Copper Moon Stables

Copper Moon Stables is a small, full care horse boarding facility centrally located on Niwot Rd., between Boulder and Longmont, west of Niwot, Colorado.

We aren't fancy but we offer quality, attentive and full individual care in a friendly, quiet and peaceful environment for you and your horse.  Outdoor riding arena; tack lockers; coordination of veterinary/farrier/dental service; and easy access to riding trails are all included in our services.  We are looking to add a round pen in the near future. 

We are located approximately one and a half miles from the Left Hand trail head and one and a half miles from access points to the rideable acreage surrounding the Boulder Reservoir as well as the Eagle trail head.  There are also miles of quiet, rural, unpaved roads right around the corner.

What We Do

- Provide full care for your horse 24/7.  Both myself and Adam, the caretaker, live on the premises

- Provide daily feedings of grass hay 2-3 times per day depending on the season

- *Daily turn out/turn in on 10 acre pasture (*except when pasture is closed for seasonal maintenance)

- Feeding of grain/supplements/etc. per your specifications

- Blankets/fly sheets/fly masks/etc. used per your specifications 

- Coordination of veterinary/farrier/dental services 

- Other services available on request
